Phew, judging JDM Allstars this season... Its the toughest thing you can ever do, with each of the JDM judges looking for a different aspect of each drivers performance and the level of driving so high! But myself and the other 2 judges kept on working towards judging in the best way we could and i think overall the season was very entertaining with some great driving! Having Luke Fink drive over here was brilliant and his driving pushed everyone’s level up, with him taking a well deserved championship win! Congrats to Jon Calvert too who has been on fire this year who came second overall, also super well deserved... And third place went to our very own Dan Chapman who had a blinding year but a disappointing final round which sadly put him out of contention for the top spot, but some stunning driving all year from Dan! I’m glad it’s over now though, it’s just so tough!!!
And for me and my personal S14 I have been attending as many Mallory Park FCP:MP Drift Sessions as possible! It’s nice to finally be back in the seat and its even nicer that we have an amazing venue like Mallory.. If you haven’t been yet, get yourself booked in and get ready for the best and most pure drift day of your life. Not since the days of Teesside Autodrome has there been such a free and easy going venue with something to suit everyone, even the best drifters in the UK can find something to scare themselves with at Mallory.
I have recently fitted Driftworks Geomaster Hubs all round and Offset Rack spacers to compliment them and I’m looking to solid mount the subframe and raise it at the same time shortly... The car has been going very well just lately, with just routine maintenance required... Very happy with it, let’s see if it lasts another Mallory Day as I’ll be attending the next on the 11th of November! Maybe see you there!?
Cheers!
