MARK II.... literally
So, I sold my JZX81 Chaser in 2009. I cried. It's a bit gay I know, but I really loved that car, and it was...me? So 2 years down the line and my life has changed again and I think it's time I got another one...

Bring in the JZX81 Mark II.... my 2nd JZX81, Mark 2 by name and nature.... sweet, perfect.

I picked this awesome car up off Alan McCord over Christmas, I went over with an old friend of ours and fellow TNS member to Ireland, spent New Year’s over there and came home with a "750bhp" JZX81... woohoo!!!

So yeah maybe it's not 750bhp just now, but that turbo should do it, and if it doesn't then it has a lovely nitrous bottle in the boot. I'm just in the process of making a huge inlet plenum with a Q45 throttle body, updating the largely standard fuel system and making a better exhaust system. With those 3 things sorted, this should be a genuine 700+bhp, 200+mph drift car.... heh..heh... Oh yeah with full interior, air con and a nice stereo system. Sweeeet.
Very me. Very retarded.

So already a little progress this weekend, I've basically taken it to pieces to get it ready for the year, the cool thing is I bought it pretty much ready to go, but the engine needs a few basic changes to make it reliable at big power levels and a couple of suspension tweaks. So far I've decided on the fuel system setup and got it in progress, and completed the ridiculous huge inlet plenum and 90mm throttle body from an Infinity Q45...
Excuse the mess, it's a work in progress, just thrown the plenum on for a photo!

Watch this space for further updates. I'm excited; it should be a good year!!!
